What HOME means

So guys, as you all know I'm originally from Portugal but I study in the Uk so I spend a lot of time traveling between the two places I can call Home.
First, I always thought I wouldn't be able to call home to any place that wasn't my parents house, the house I grew in for 18 years, the house where I learnt and became the person I was two years ago.
I thought this just to learn, later on, that my second home (in the UK) might not be the one I grew in or the one I learnt a lot about the world but, it's for sure the one that changed me and made me the person I am today.
Home for me, is now the place where I grow and build my character everyday, is the place I feel comfortable in and safe, the place I can always remember with love and good memories, a place where once I was happy.
After 2 years of realizing this, I can now say that home is my parents house where my mom and dad always gave me love, is my grandparents house where my grandma always cooked my favorite dish, is the room 303 in a little hotel in Punta Umbria during Spring Break, is the country I'm so proud to be born on, is the little cheap tent I slept in during an 8 day festival back in 2018, is my house in Coventry (UK) where I have collected memories and friendships for life, is my university where I'm currently building a bright future. HOME is a four letter word and yet it can mean so much and change so quickly.
So what does HOME mean?
Xx Mariana.
